There are a few things we need to know to get the devanning process going and our Container Devanning Checklist will guide you through this information – Container Devanning Checklist
NZL Storage and Distribution offers; MPI Approved Transitional Facilities, licensed customs controlled areas (CCA), devanning and vanning of containers (container unpacking and container packing) of all cargo and container types, including supply of complete cargo management services through to final delivery and a team of professional, experienced operators.
Some importers are not aware of the importance of collecting imported containers or goods on arrival to avoid port demurrage costs and potential shipping line container detention costs. These costs are applied where removal of import containers or cargo and dehiring of equipment to local container depots is not undertaken within allowable timeframes.
Once collected, your container and contents or goods “under bond” can then be stored in customs bonded warehouses while it awaits unpacking instructions and if required, customs inspection and Customs/MPI clearances.
Logistics service providers such as NZL Group can offer a variety of services to our customers, which can save on time and money. They are;
- Warehousing & Distribution Services
- Container Devanning & Container Vanning Services (unpacking containers & packing containers)
- MPI Approved Transitional Facility including Vehicle Wash & Inspection Facilities
- Licensed Customs Controlled Area (CCA)
- Transport / Line Haul Services
- Container Transport Services (Swing Lift)
